A denser surface generally resists wear better—useful for areas with foot traffic, trolleys, light vehicles, or daily movement. It’s not a magic shield, but done at the right time with correct curing, it makes a noticeable difference.

The key point most people miss

Power floating is a finishing method, not a “quality guarantee.” Results depend on:

Concrete mix design and slump
Timing (too early/too late affects strength and finish)
Skilled operator technique
Proper curing, joint cutting, and protection after pouring
